We had a yummy breakfast; I went on a jog\/walk; the kids played between <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-81\" title=\"throwing-rocks\" src=\"http:\/\/daveandcourt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/throwing-rocks.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"320\" height=\"214\" srcset=\"http:\/\/daveandcourt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/throwing-rocks.jpg 320w, http:\/\/daveandcourt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/throwing-rocks-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px\" \/>rain showers and we all got showers or baths. We fished for a bit on the McKenzie and then ran errands which was a wild goose chase as we traversed the confusing roads\/bridges\/highways &#8211; Chevy for seatbelt extenders, Trader Joe\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s (groceries are cheaper than back home), Home Depot, REI, Goodwill for some books for Kenz and a rain jacket.<\/p>\n<p>Courtney:<em> Sitting on the bank of the McKenzie<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-82\" title=\"cuddles\" src=\"http:\/\/daveandcourt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/cuddles.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"320\" height=\"212\" srcset=\"http:\/\/daveandcourt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/cuddles.jpg 320w, http:\/\/daveandcourt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/cuddles-300x198.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px\" \/> as Dave fished with the kids and Marin attempted to throw rocks into the river was a highlight for me today. As was another dinner with Chris and Kristin at their cute house in downtown Eugene. It was so good to reconnect with old friends!<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Kids: <em>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153We built a fort in the little room at Chris and Kristin\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Mason lifted up a couch &#8211; so strong. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153We played in the rain.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I fished all by myself.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d (Mackenzie) Marin has a fever now &#8211; the mysterious fever sickness.
